The short answer is that our former record labels, Virgin
Records in the U.K. and BMG Canada have little or no interest
in reissuing our back catalogue.

Virgin released a C.D. compilation, "Far Away in Time"
in 1987, an indiscriminate selection of tracks with no input
from the band, taken mainly from the "Metro Music"
and "Trance and Dance" albums while almost totally
ignoring "This Is The Ice Age". BMG Canada has never
reissued any of the three albums that they control.
Since aquiring sub-licensing rights from Virgin and BMG, Martha
and Mark's goal is to reissue those albums in greatest demand
("This Is The Ice Age" and "Danseparc"
lead the way so far), along with bonus tracks from the same
sessions. Financing these projects is the only major obstacle
and avenues are currently being explored to make things happen.
The best overview of MatM/M+M's seven album releases to date
is "Then Again - A Retrospective", the EMI/Muffin
Music C.D. compilation released in 1998. (For more info and
to buy "Then Again" see the "Merchandise"
section.)
For "Danseparc" and "Mystery Walk" fans,
One Way Records in the U.S. reissued these two albums as a
double album C.D. in 2000. (#OW 71003/DRC 12773) Available
