| Album Description:

Winner of Canada's prestigious Juno Award for Best Children's
Album, this is Martha Johnson's first collection of songs
for children. Sixteen original compositions and three traditional
songs describe an imaginary visit to a tree house - "a
spot that we call our own, to invite all our friends or to
just be alone...". Learning to talk, trips in the car,
good manners, best friends and far-off places are just some
of the things that will intrigue, inform and entertain young
listeners.
Imaginative production, (using bird calls from the Yucatan,
docks played like giant marimbas and the cleverly edited "talking"
of a toddler), combined with intelligent lyrics makes this
an appealing album to both young children and adults. Full
lyric sheet included. Available on compact disk only.
