After a hectic summer of trying family matters, Martha and Mark are now busy reorganizing their studio, The Web, to accommodate a new Logic Audio system. It is their profound hope that this will help to increase and speed up their music creation process, namely the current Martha and the Muffins album work-in-progress, Martha's half-finished 2nd children's album and Mark's Garden Music project of instrumental music.

In the meantime, Martha has pulled out her Epiphone Wilshire electric guitar, (the one strung inversely or left-handed in an open tuning - perhaps we should explain this one day), and has come up with an astounding number of great guitar riffs, some of which have been developed into proto-songs. She has been known to wake Mark up at 2 a.m. saying, "What about this one?", whereupon Mark, hearing another dazzling riff replies in a voice thick with sleep, "Put it down on tape so you remember it in the morning." There are now several more tape cassettes of material, bringing the number of potential new songs to around 15 to 20 - a challenge to refine and record to say the least.

Thanks to all of you who have emailed with encouragement and advice and joined the email list. We are hoping to regain a large enough fan base to be able to presell new and reissued material soon.
