DANSEPARC (Every Day It's Tomorrow) From the album "DANSEPARC" 1983

The song was about a recurring dream from my childhood. I would visit my aunt on the eve of the full moon and take a walk at dusk to the park near her house. Soon I would notice that nobody else was left in the park and I would become very frightened. As I ran towards the park entrance, clowns would come out from behind the trees and chase me, their ridiculous smiling faces jumping out from everywhere. At midnight a clock would begin tolling and the clowns would stop their pursuit and we'd all get together for a party, dancing in the park until the sun came up.

I was also trying very hard to reach someone emotionally at the time I was writing the lyrics. The cold walls I confronted personally and the disinterest I encountered every day while living and moving through a big city triggered many of my feelings expressed in this song. I was feeling very detached from everybody in my life right then so through the song I tried to reach others who might be listening and hear my call.
